The Tudor Arms is a large family-operated Free House beside the Gloucester-Sharpness Canal, and just ½ mile from the world famous Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust.   

 

The building dates from the 18th century, and was a licensed beer and cider house for the Irish Navigator Soldiers who dug the Canal by hand.

 

Today it is a fully licensed premises  with two bars offering a range of cask ales - including a guest cask - and keg ales, stouts, lagers and ciders.

 

There is a Games Room with pool tables adjacent to the Canal Bar.

 

We are proud to have been awarded CAMRA’s “Gloucester Country Pub of the Year”  2007, 2008, and now 2009.
